Acceptance of the terms

By accessing the website, creating an account or using the service, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, you must not use Leegal.

For certain actions, such as creating an account, signing documents or purchasing a paid service, Leegal may ask you to confirm your acceptance through a dedicated checkbox or validation action.

Access to the service

Leegal is intended for adults. The service is not intended for minors, and minors are not authorized to create an account or use the service.

You are responsible for keeping your login details confidential and for all activity carried out through your account. You must inform us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.

Description of the service

Leegal may include a guided assistant, forms, dashboards, document previews, document uploads, signature flows, payment pages, support messages and tools used to prepare or submit a business creation file.

The service may change over time. We may add, modify, suspend or remove features when needed to improve the product, comply with legal or technical constraints, or maintain the service.

No legal advice

Leegal is not a law firm, an accounting firm or a regulated legal advice service. The information shown in the service helps you complete a file and does not replace advice from a qualified professional where your situation requires it.

You remain responsible for choosing the options that match your project, checking the information in your file and validating the documents before any signature or submission.

Your obligations

You must use Leegal lawfully, provide accurate, complete and up-to-date information, upload only genuine documents, and make sure that you have the right to send the information and documents you provide.

You must not use the service to commit fraud, impersonate someone else, harm the service, bypass security, extract data without authorization, copy the software, or interfere with the normal operation of Leegal.

Files, documents and user content

You remain responsible for the information, messages, documents and files you provide through Leegal.

You authorize Leegal to host, copy, process, transform, transmit and display this content only as needed to provide the service, prepare your file, generate documents, manage signatures, support you and comply with legal obligations.

Documents generated through Leegal are made available for your own business creation file. They must not be resold, redistributed as templates or used to build a competing service.

Assistant and automated suggestions

The assistant may help classify your activity, identify missing information, draft text or suggest the next steps in your file. These suggestions may be incomplete or require verification.

You must review the output before relying on it. Leegal does not guarantee that an automated suggestion alone is sufficient for a specific legal, tax, accounting or administrative situation.

Availability and maintenance

We make reasonable efforts to keep the service available and secure. Access may nevertheless be interrupted for maintenance, updates, technical issues, third-party service failures or events outside our control.

When possible, we try to limit disruptions and restore access within a reasonable time.

Suspension or closure of access

We may suspend or restrict access to the service if we reasonably believe that the account is used in breach of these terms, for fraud, for security reasons, for non-payment of a paid service, or to comply with a legal obligation.

You may request account closure by contacting us. Personal data linked to the account will then be handled according to the privacy policy and applicable legal retention rules.

Paid services

Some features or services may be paid. Prices, included services, mandatory legal fees, payment terms, invoices, withdrawal rules and refund conditions are shown before payment and are governed by the terms of sale where applicable.

If these terms conflict with the terms of sale on a commercial matter, the terms of sale prevail for that matter.

Intellectual property

The Leegal website, interface, texts, visuals, logos, trademarks, software, databases and technical elements are protected by intellectual property law.

You receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive and non-transferable right to use the service for your own needs. Any copying, extraction, modification, resale or unauthorized reuse of Leegal elements is prohibited.

Liability

Leegal is responsible for providing the service with reasonable care, within the limits provided by law.

Leegal cannot be held responsible for inaccurate information provided by the user, refusal or delay by an administration, missing documents, choices validated by the user, misuse of the service, third-party service failures or damage caused by a breach of these terms.

Personal data

Personal data is processed as described in the privacy policy. The policy explains what data we collect, why we use it, who may receive it, how long we keep it and how you can exercise your rights.

Changes to the terms

We may update these terms to reflect changes to the service, the law or our organization. The latest version is available on this page.

When a change is material and you have an account, we may inform you by email, in-app message or another appropriate method.

Applicable law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In case of difficulty, you should first contact us at [email protected] so that we can try to find an amicable solution.

If no amicable solution is found, the competent courts are determined according to the applicable procedural rules. The French version prevails in case of discrepancy between versions, unless mandatory law provides otherwise.
